Private tuition
Friday, 26 September 2008

Private tuition is without doubt the quickest way to learn, or maybe perhaps it's you can't make it to the regular classes. It could just be that you just want to learn one to one. The students I teach privately will readily agree that they feel its the best way to learn,  it's also very cost effective as what you will  learn in one session of intense tuition often equates to quite a few regular busy classes. (Where my time is often shared amongs twenty plus students).  Other benefits include that you won't pick up bad habits, the classes are shaped to what you want to learn  whether it be Thai Boxing,  Self protection or a mixture of both. A private class lasts about an hour and ten minutes and can either be for one student or a small group up to four. For more information please call me  Ian on 07971864630.

Protecting Yourself
Friday, 03 November 2006

Recently I have become an instructor under the British Combat Association (Peter Consterdine and Geoff Thompsons Association).  Self Protection is very important to me. .

I was once attacked as a kid at the age of 11, and I guess thats what maybe originally started my interest in Martial Arts. I am a massive believer in awareness, spotting attack rituals, warning /danger signs escape avoidence if possible. However if a person needs to protect themselves I all the  the fancy nonsense goes out the window and  one has to be realistic in what works and what doesn't!

the BCA and all those associated with them have always inspired me in their attitude to real self protection and I am very pleased to be associated.
